 2024 Tax Changes

NEW LLC / CORP / S-CORP REPORTING REQUIREMENTS - IMPORTANT

Starting Jan 1st, 2024 ALL new LLC, S-Corp, Corp will need to file with the FINCIN reporting agency the business information and beneficial owners within 90 days of organizing the business.  If an owner fails to comply, it could result in significant penalties.  Because of the extensive penalties and liability issues, I will not be able to provide this service.  If I did, I could potentially lose my liability insurance and I cannot risk that.  In addition to this reporting requirement, in 2025 the reporting requirement will apply to ALL LLC, S-Corp, and Corp. I would encourage all of you to contact your congressman to fight this unnecessary regulation.  Stuff like this scares the crap out of me!  I do apologize for not helping with this part of compliance but the penalties for not complying could be up to $10,000 or more, so I hope you can only imagine what that would do to my tax preparation fees.  As I get further information of where and how to report, I will forward it to you.

Here is the website to report your information, which is not available until after Jan 1st, 2024, so currently, I don’t have any other information. This link will also have a link to answer any questions.

If you DO NOT want to give your personal Information to a stranger, you can apply for a FINCIN ID #. You would then provide that number to the person responsible ro filing the report.
